As soon as we pulled the comforter and top sheet off, we noticed the fitted sheet was torn. Once inside the room, the first thing I do when staying at a hotel is check the bed and bedding. There was no signage directing us to the rooms, so we were left wandering around until we found a worker that could help us figure it out. Room 216 is on the same floor as the casino, so there was a main door that you had to enter through to be able to have access to the actual hotel rooms on that floor. Let me start off by saying that we weren’t told that we needed to use the card key to utilize the elevators or to get to our room. When we checked in to the hotel, we were placed in Room 216.
This was our first trip away by ourselves in almost 3 years. We had meetings to attend on the 29th in the event center however, we also wanted to treat ourselves to a few nights away together. On the dates of July 27-July 29, 2022, my husband and I drove into Baton Rouge to stay at L’auberge Hotel and Casino.
