Your skill at using the control determines how well your ship fights. X3 is a first person flight sim control game. Click on target, select a weapon, pray your ship and weapon is better than the other guy. Everything is done from outside your ship, and it's a mouse driven. In EvE it will buy you one ship.ĮvE is a third person 'point and click' game. A million dollars in X3 can really go a long way. It takes a very long time to do so in EvE, and you can't really fly or own anything 'exciting' until you can make millions.īTW, the economy in EvE is vastly inflated compared to X3. You can start turning a decent profit in X3 fairly quickly. You need money to do anything in both games and money doesn't come easy at first. The two are very similar in terms of trading and economy. I played for 4 years, so perhaps I can give you the 'nutz n boltz' between the two.
